This filter(from honeywell) still shed lots of carbon (black) particulate, especially when you have to cut to trim to size. These are very fine dust particles. Some of which i am sure clogged the HEPA. I dont believed previous report that said the Honeywell brand of pre-filter dont shed.

Simple to replace original filter, competitive price to other retailers. Air purifier has made a huge difference in allergy suffering!

I needed a prefilter for my 52250 Honeywell Airfilter and put the model # into the search engine here at Amazon. This came up. ITS WAY TOO SMALL. AVOID this if you have a full height airfilter unit.

I ordered pre-filters for my Honeywell model 50100 air cleaner. What I received was one sheet of pre-filter material. The original pre-filters had scored marks so you could see where to cut. There were no cutting or cross-hatch lines either like all wall papers have. The instructions said that I had to measure and cut my own filters out of this bulk piece. When I did cut the material, it shred at the cut points. The original material did not shred. I suspect that we have an inferior product along with a lack of customer consideration. It's unfortunate that the Honeywell name is being purchased by Kaz, Inc. to market this product for them. I don't think that it's a product that Honeywell itself would produce.

I'm happy with it, but understand that it is thin and on a weight basis, has very little carbon in it. So I wouldn't expect it to do much.

The speaker stands were easy to use. If you do need to bolt on your speaker as we did, you do have to purchase the porper size screw. Otherwise, very easy to put together, cheaper than other brands, and looks great.

For the price these are unbeatable. The casting is a little rough but no real imperfections.

I had just purchased the Denon DHT - 591 BA Home Theater System with the Boston Acoustics 5.1 Speakers and needed a set of speaker stands. I did not do my research and ended up paying close to 180$ for 4 stands from Best Buy. I decided to browse amazon just to see if there were cheaper stands. Well I came across these and after reading the reviews, I decided to buy 2 sets. These stands are very easy to put together. The hardest thing was pushing the speaker wire through the tube. That did not take that long though. My advice is try to just keep the wire straight and keep pushing. If you push stop push, I noticed that the wire got jammed and I had to pull it out and start again. I used these stands with the MCS 95 Boston Speakers, these are the speakers that come with the surround sound system, but just in case you have the separate speaker system, I wanted to throw in the model. They come with a screw and plate already attached. So I just used the boston plate and screw to attach the speakers to the stands. Now with these speakers, they have a rounded lip all around. If I placed the speaker flat, it angled the speakers up once attached. So what I did was put the provided tape pad under the lip so the bottom of the lip is flush with the end of the bracket. You do not need to use the provided pad though, if you secure it snugly it just rests on the edge and does not appear to really do any damage. It worked out fine the way I did it though. Now here is where I got bit by not doing my research again. These stands are built for speakers up to 2lbs. Well my speakers are 4lbs each. So I was alittle nervous to have built them and then they would'nt work. Well after attaching them I extended the speaker stands to full height and bumped them to test the sturdyness with the heavier speakers. The base is pretty heavy so it takes quite a bit of pressure to tip them over. These stands are placed on carpet by the way. Needless to say they passed the test. They are nothing spectacular to look at but they serve the purpose they are needed for. For the price and adaptability you cannot beat it. I am very pleased with this product. The users on here put up good photos to give you an idea of what they look like mounting wise, so please take advantage of that. I recommend these to anyone who needs reliable, decent looking stands, but does'nt need the comfort of looks or name brand logos.

For approximately $30/pair (sold in pairs), you cannot beat these. They're great if you want to set up a home theater that can adjust to literally any layout. Standard size fasteners are included. If your 3.1/5.1/7.1 satellite speakers do not exactly fit, it is easy to use velcro tape or other inconspicuous method to keep the speakers easily and solidly mounted. In addition, Amazon delivers these to FPO addresses.

I bought this for my husband who had wanted one for his small office. We have 2 large Honeywell filters in our house which we like, and this small desktop unit looked perfect. The first thing I noticed was that the box says "HEPA type filter" while the Amazon product page says "HEPA". There's a difference! This is not Honeywell's fault as Amazon is the one who has mislabeled the page; if you saw this in the store, you'd know it wasn't a HEPA filter. So that was disappointing. However, the purifier itself works just fine. The plastic is a little cheap, already getting that beige-pink discoloration of cheap plastic despite only having the unit for a month, but the purifier has filtered the air and kept it smelling nice. The room is 10 x 10 and we keep the filter on low all day long. It's loud on high, but all purifiers are loud on the highest setting (I have yet to find one that isn't) but on low, this unit isn't any louder than a fan. My husband cleaned it easily. For what we wanted -- a small auxiliary filter to supplement the 2 main HEPA filters -- it's been just fine.

This is the name of the product: "Honeywell HHT-011 Compact Air Purifier with Permanent HEPA Filter." That is bald-face lie! I just received the machine today and I read that the filter is a "Hepa-type filter" in the manual that comes in the box. So, I go online and look up Hepa filters and find this: "Many imitations of HEPA filters pervade the marketplace, usually called HEPA-type filters. They are less expensive than true HEPA filters, rated lower, and do an inferior job of filtering the air. If your health requires the specific benefits and efficiency of a HEPA filter, check the packaging to make sure the filter is rated at an efficiency of 99.97% for microns .3 in size. If it's a true HEPA filter, it will have this rating clearly marked." Source: [...] I have always been satisfied with the service from Amazon, but Honeywell, well that's the last thing I buy from that company. I don't like being lied to, just so they can make a sale.

I have a whisper quiet Bionaire minitower filter that is no longer available so I was looking for a comparable unit for a second room. Ordered this after reading all the reviews. Just arrived today and it is unusually loud, even on the lowest fan setting. Not sure if this is a random bad unit or if this is typical (or perhaps my Bionaire is just exceptionally quiet). Returning this one today because the noise is just distracting

I like this item. I got it in a timely manner and works great. Have no problems with the machine.

I've had this unit for about 3 months now, and I run it most of the time when I am at home. So far it has run quite well and cleaned up the air quite a bit. It's got some noise to it, but It's not terribly loud and unless you require dead silence, it's not hard to sleep with it on. There is one problem I ran into with this unit, and that is using it in the other position. It explains and has rubber feet so you can stand it up so that the air is drawn in from the top, but after using it that way for a month, the fans seemed to be wearing out (making noise and not running as fast). I switch it back to the position it was in and it seems to be running fine for now. Personally I would suggest placing the unit in the position shown in the picture rather than the other way to keep it from giving you problems.

We have 4 grown children and no one seems to be able to keep track of their key to our house. We feel confident that the extra rock in our flower bed looks innocent and is safer than leaving the key under the door mat.

I bought this video on behalf of a friend and was extremely pleased to see how fast and easy it was to find the movie and get it ordered and shipped within a day!

One of the best all-time real life comedies. They don't make em like this anymore. Bo Derek is amazing, Dudley Moore is brilliant. This is one of the five best movies I've ever seen. If you like rock-em sock-em far fetched explosion's and car chases, move on. This is a realistic, well written, well acted, real life story of a middle aged man going through mid-life crisis. It's not a male bashing or female demeaning movie. It's a good realistic story about some really interesting people going through what most people go through at some point in time. The movie came out around 1980 but you don't get the sense that your watching an old movie when your watching it. It's timeless. One of those movies you will watch more than a couple of times over the years.

I got what I wanted, in the time specified and it was good value and quality.

This work is a good illustration to a way stories of infidelity in 70s last century made to date for a public screening. Rich daddy seduces one's wife to prove his earthy worth with copulating abilities. Of not so much interest to a modern viewer this awarded opus is.

Boy, this was "hot stuff" back when it came out in 1979: I am referring to both the movie AND Bo Derek! Actually, Dudley Moore was a box-office star, too. Nobody had heard of Derek before this, but this film certainly made her an overnight sensation. She didn't have to say anything in the film, just walk down a beach. Certainly, the number "10" now had a new meaning in the culture.....and Bo Derek is now a Hollywood icon! Basically, the film is about a guy who spots Derek, and then totally makes a fool of himself over her. Most guys would have done the same thing. Moore, making an idiot of himself as "George Webber," provided a lot of laughs and Bo had to just....well....just let herself be photographed. Fortunately, in real life, she turned out to be far more than just some hot- looking bimbo. I've heard her on several talk shows in recent years, and she's no dummy.....and still looks tremendous. Meanwhile, Moore, who had some tough physical ailments, really didn't have a noteworthy career after this film with one exception: Arthur (1981). The poor man died in 2002. One forgets that a huge big-name actress co-starred with Moore in this movie: Julie Andrews. Perhaps a good part of that reason we forget that is she doesn't play a memorable character. It fact, she's downright unappealing as Moore's girlfriend "Samantha Taylor." It's also easy to forget about some of the cultural issues songwriter "Webber" dealt with, bemoaning the shallowness of the current generation and its music tastes, and finally realizing his own shallowness won't lead to happiness just by being with a woman half his age. There are some profound things to ponder in this film even though it often concentrates on the slapstick humor angle. As a guy who has gone through the usual "mid- life" crisis, I would to sympathize with Webber's dilemmas but since this idiot is drunk half the time and an extremely self-indulgent person, I found it hard to "root" for him. Speaking of drinks, Brian Dennehy was excellent as a bartender. I wish he had played more "nice guy" roles like this during his career. . Along with millions of others, I enjoyed the movie 30 years ago, but now it's kind of sad, too slow and even painful to watch at times. For those of us who saw in the theater, the film now appears somewhat dated, but so are all of us, I guess, are dated, too.

Contacted seller and they would not accept a return because box was opened. Well how do you see a product if you do not open the box. Anyway this item is way to thick and of course will not want to do any future buys with this provider.

I accidentally bought these because I put them in my shopping cart for later inspection. They are huge and if you sleep on your stomach, like I do, you will have trouble. They are also very warm so not good for summer use, at least where I live. They do keep the light out, however. They have come down in price quite a bit since I bought them so they may be worth a try if you are having trouble find a sleep mask that works for you.

This mask is just what I wanted. It is made of high quality materials and very comfortable to wear. The fabric is very soft. I'm glad the fabric is not shiny or silky as it would then slide around on you a lot. The material is a very soft velour with some elastic on the sides covered by material but the elastic also makes it more comfortable to wear. I like the memory foam in it as well. It also really blocks out light and was designed in such a way that it does not push on your eyes at all. Excellent product, and I've tried many sleep masks over the years.

I work nights and my room is very bright during the day.. this mask is so good, soft and comfy.. when I take it off, it feels like a spot light just lit on my eyes.. you do have to work it around your nose to completely block out all the light.

bought this for my wife's birtday. She gives it 5 of 5 stars, says it works wonderfully.

As promised, this mirror does not fog at all. My husband uses it to shave in the shower and has had no complaints. It's a little small, but works for us!

A bit smaller than you would think....but works perfectly as a shower shaving mirror. Would highly recommend this product.

My mirror has had no trouble staying mounted on the shower wall. It does the job fine, especially for the price. I suppose it's a little smaller than I thought it would be, since it's only 4x4 including trim. The slight magnification is a nice feature.

The fog free mirror is adequate for what you pay for. The mirror is not 100% fog free but it has worked well for me so far.

Works well for the price. Falls off the wall every now and then and fogs up due to soap scum etc after a few weeks, but can't argue for the price.

This is an excellent humidifier. It has one added advantage - two smaller than usual reservoirs make it easier to refill for those of us who are getting more seasoned - older that is.

The product is as described. It puts out quite a bit of steam which I need living in Las Vegas because it is so dry here. It helps my breathing and gives my skin moisture. It's a great product. I love the two tanks and the ease of use.

Last month I purchased another unit that ran out of water in the middle of the night. This one does NOT have that problem. Even on the highest setting it's running about a day and a half! Beautiful. The 'on' light is way too bright but a piece of black tape fixed that. You can't see any light from the germ light (that's good). It does it's germ killing on the water before it hits the hot plate. I'm not sure how needed this is considering it's generating steam but 'perhaps' (I don't really know) it may reduce the gunk amount in the cleanup. It came with 3 mineral pads that simply lay on a hot plate (use just 1 pad). Note they are the 'small' round pads. I see two sizes on Amazon. No other light comes from the unit. Gurgling isn't as bad as some other units I've tried but there is no way around a bit of gurgling. The TWO water side tanks can both be filled or just one. Lifting one tank off the unit while the other is full causes NO problems, water doesn't gush out. It is big so check the size. The only 'cons' are the way too bright on light (easy fix, tape) and when empty the plastic tanks can easily fall while moving the unit. They don't 'lock' in place and are quite light when empty. I haven't tried a lower steam setting but there is a constantly variable control for steam (not just low and high). So far I love the unit and I let it run all night!

I could not understand why my electric bill was as high this winter as they were during last summer when I used my central A/C. When I unplugged the humidifier, my bill dropped right back in line. It costs about $40-$50 a month to run it here on Cape Cod.

My Slant Fin cost three times as much and lasted 3 years (winter use only), then I could no longer remove the knobs on the water containers (another reviewer mentioned it might be a gasket problem). This model looks exactly the same, and the water containers would even fit (IF I could ever get the knobs off!). Must be sure that water containers are securely in place or unit will not produce steam. You can barely hear a low click, that's where it's best to leave it and has brought my bedroom up to between 40-50% humidity which is supposed to be ideal (and I only run it at night). Only negative is that bright blue light. I tried to cover it with tape, not too successful but turn my back to the unit and sleep on my side. Of course the unit needs to be cleaned; I use my reverse osmosis water to extend time between cleanings but every 2 weeks is a minimum even with r/o or bottled or distilled water (I fill the center chamber full with white vinegar and leave it sit for a half hour and then use an old toothbrush if there's any build-up/scale to be cleaned out). No longer wakening up with a dry nose and throat so it's a must for me.

I bought this product based on Amazon's recommendation while I bought a TV wall mount bracket. I saw this as a good alternative to providing a regular electrical outlet directly behind the wall mounted TV (which would require a real electrician rather than a first time do-it-yourself TV wall mounter such as myself). Another key motivation for buying this item is that I learnt that according to building code, you cannot run the regular 'high voltage' TV power wire behind the wall along with the other low voltage cables (such as A/V, HDMI cable etc.) - I have drawn the low voltage wires separately in a slot adjacent to this power inlet/receptacle with their own inlet and outlet gangs (see related item: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001C4BEOY/ref=oss_product) The installation is very straightforward and quick. The package comes with mostly all you need to get this installed. You do need to buy 14-2 indoor electrical wire separately. I needed the following tools to get the job done 1. Drywall saw - to make the openings in the drywall - I got: [...] 2. Fish tape - to fish the wire from the inlet opening to the receptacle opening behind the wall - I got: [...] 3. Wire stripper - I got: [...] 4. Utility knife 5. Small flat head and Philips screwdrivers Other reviewers had indicated that they wished the package included a template to mark the opening to cut in the drywall. I found that I could accomplish that very accurately using the electrical box that is provided with the package. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

I bought 2 of these kits to install my flat panels in a new house. The quality of the kit is good, and comes with everything you need EXCEPT the in wall electrical wiring (ROMEX). I had to make a quick trip to the Home Improvement store to buy some, so it will add an additional cost to install this. It was about 90 cents a foot, and I purchased 2 6 foot lengths. Most other kits don't include the Romex either, but I do want to inform people it is not a complete kit. It's everything I expected, at a lower price than the competitor products, with fast Amazon shipping. There are a few Cons though: 1: The inlet faceplate is smaller than a normal electrical outlet. It looks a little weird next to the normal size electrical and cable outlets, but it's not that bad. You'll probably never see it because it's behind a piece of furniture anyway. 2: The instruction leave a little to be desired. They expect some knowledge on the users part, so if your not familiar with electrical wiring, find a friend who is and have them make the connections for you. A template for cutting in the old work boxes would be nice as well. Overall I'm very happy and satisfied with the product and the purchase from Amazon.

I love this baby set!! When I saw the design of this collection I was so excited becasue it was so unique and original. Little did I know that all of the Bedding designs by this particular company were this way. Cotton Tale Designs has by far, in my opinion the best collections of bedding for you little one. I chose this design because it wasn't like the other sets that were all pink and frilly and flowers and bears. I wanted something different for my little girl. I was able to buy each piece of this collection for my babys nursery and when I got it I was even more thirlled to see the quality of the craftsmanship. It's so detailed and well worth the money!!! I would recommend this companies designs for a girl or boy, this set is well worht the money and then some!!

This paper is a bit stronger and a bit brighter than the standard 20 lb. bond paper. The brightness factor helps the printed word stand out more, especially noticeable with older laser printers that uses black ink that seems more like dark grey. Also, the heavier weight means the paper is more substantial and it takes more klutzyness to accidentally rip it. My work always stands out on this paper - just compare it to what your office uses! This paper works well with my laser and my laser jet printer. Having sold copiers in my deep past, I can tell it would work well in copiers, too. I wish it were made in a recycled version.

Product arrived in good shape but the shipping costs were almost $60. It was shipped from Walmart in Arkansas.

Costs a bit more than the cheap paper but if you want quality in your printed matter, this is worth the price.

This paper is really good the clarity is excellent and colors pop on this paper i highly recommend it!!

I really like this paper a lot. It is a slight bit heavier and stiffer than most, which I like. The whiteness and brightness are also very good. I thought the price was excellent for a quality paper, as was the shipping and delivery time. All in all, a very good deal and I would recommend this product to anyone with an ink jet printer. I have an HP Deskjet Model 895CSE and it works very well.

Having tired of dusting a tall, metal CD rack, I put everything into two of these albums, and they take up much less space and are easier to use.

I just recieved this product in the mail, and I have to applaud Amazon for it's promptness in delivery. That being said, I just have to mention that this product is not as pictured. Yes, it holds 100 cds (50 with accompanying booklets), but it is not 4-cd sleeves that you see in the picture. This product is much slimmer and only includes the 2-cd sleves (well, 4cds front and back)inside it. Other than this misleading picture, I find this so be a great product. It seems fairly sturdy, and I love the handle on the side. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and intend to buy another in the future.

I bought six of these to store all my CD's for work (and I've got a lot of CD's). At first I was concerned that they might be too big to fit neatly in my standard corporate Steelcase cubicle's desk drawer since Amazon lists the dimensions at 8.1 x 12.7 x 3.5 inches. Fortunately for me, Amazon's dimensions are *wrong*. By my ruler, the actual dimensions of the Case Logic CDW92 nylon CD wallet are 7.75" x 11.5" x 3.4". With the longest dimension being 11.5", I can place the CDW92's 11.5" length across the width of my 12" wide desk drawer. At 3.4" thick (it might bump up to 3.5" when filled, I haven't tried it yet), seven of these will fit nicely in a 24" long drawer. Fortunately, these *do* have sturdy nylon handles (you can't see it in the picture here or at Case Logic's website), so pulling them out of the drawer is easy. (See my pics in the customer images section). Highly recommended if you need to store a lot of CD's in a desk drawer.

This CD wallet is very nice and doesn't bind up when full. The picture makes it look like you get two CD wallet's for the price of one. I thought there was a bonus wallet added. This is not the case. Still, the one you get is nice. They should change the picture.
