The directions were easy to follow, and the product arrived on time and as specified. When applied to the wall, they appeared as though they were painted on, unlike some of the other types of decals I've purchased. I would buy from this manufacturer again.

Baby Einstein - My First Signs Baby Einstein - My First Signs

Reviews

Our adopted daughter loved this video! We have been teaching her signs and this is a great supplement.

THIS PRODUCT WAS LIKE I BOUGHT IT FROM THE STORE, BRAND NEW. SHIPPING WAS VERY TIMELY AND NEATLY PACKED. I WOULD GIVE THIS A SUPER HIGH RATING. I HAD THIS DVD BEFORE THEN PASSED IT ONTO OTHERS. A BOY WITH SPECIAL NEEDS WHO IS 14 YRS OLD CAME INTO OUR FAMILY RECENTLY AND I WANTED TO GET THE DVD FOR HIM AND ONE FOR OUR HOME. IT CERTAINLY GIVES ADDED COMMUNICATION.

This video has helped both of our children learn sign. We now purchase it as the perfect baby shower gift. It helps children communicate before they are able to speak. Our kids were so much less frustrated than other babies we knew because they were able to express themselves or ask for things through sign language. I highly recommend to all parents.

good deal nice product very happy with this purchase will buy from seller again .

My little one enjoyed watching the video. It's good for your basic sign language skills.

The item arrived in very good condition and I was happy with the entire process.

My son was speech delayed, and we started watching this dvd when he was around 17 months. He picked up the signs very quickly--I would watch him practising them as he watched the dvd. He loved being able to communicate with me. I think a younger baby would enjoy watching it, too, but would not be able to actually use the signs until they were a bit older. Great dvd!Voice Lessons To Go Volume 1: Vocalize and Breath

All I want is to state how much a simple, direct and slow teaching of words REALLY helped my severe autistic child to increase his vocabulary and his self-confidence...

Bought this and a few other Baby Einstein books and DVDs for my little niece. My sister can't believe how quickly she learned from these. Now she is well ahead of the other kids in her age group. Also, her mom likes to have these DVDs just playing in the background instead of regular TV.

I bought this video for a 2 year old who is high energy and slower in speech. I have heard of Baby Einstein, but have not tried it before. The puppets and music is entertaining and she learned some new vocabulary words. My 2 year old is almost 3 so this is more appropriate for her age, but not for younger babies. There are very good vocabulary videos for the almost 3 set like Four Baby Bumblebees and Brainy Yogis: Everyday Words which illustrate the meaning of the words a little clearer. I found getting the Baby Einstein flashcards and board book helpful, too.

Did not get a confirmation from them until Amazon sent me an email saying that my credit card would not be charged because the seller did not respond. The next day the confirmation from miasgramma came. That was 8 days after I ordered the DVD. Amazons policy states to be a seller through Amazon you are to ship the item within 2 days of receiving the order. Then after the 8 days the item was not shipped for another 10 days. I receive it 3 days later. It took 3 weeks and only 3 days of that was shipping. Can't blame this one on the post office or delayed mail, just on poor customer service. Would not order from miasgramma again!

I purchased this for my 2yr old grandaughter. She LOVES it! She loves to get up and imitate Mr Noodle. She also counts along with them.

My 14 month old follows this dvd all the way through. she loves it. it keeps her attention.

My 16 month old loves this - he got this for his first birthday - he just started getting into Elmo around 14 months or so, but he loves this one. He really likes the beginning when it talks about hands.

I bought this for my baby and as long as she loves it and is kept entertained by it then it's all good to me. I know some people reviewed Elmo DVDs as stupid or lame but is it for them or for their kids to be entertained? I would agree if I was buying it for myself then would also I find it lame but it's NOT for me. It's for my baby and as long as she is happy then that's all good for me. That being said, I find Elmo very witty because some of the comments he makes only an adult would understand. Peace out.

I returned this item. But I can't give it a bad review just because it doesn't work on grout. I didn't open it, it was my neighbor who suggested that *maybe* it won't work on grout. So instead of opening it up and not working and then unable to return it, I just returned it. I'm sure it will work great on wood, terracotta, etc. But I doubt it will work on unsmooth surfaces such as grout. Our brick steps are filled with grout in between so we didn't even want to take the chance and use these in case it rains and washes it all away anyway. I must say, the price is half than what my local hardware store sells it for.

I added this to a steep wooden ramp that's prone to getting wet. So far, it's worked great and has maintained well. I did staple it in place. I'm not sure how well the glue would have held on its own, but I wasn't going to take any chances.

I used this on outdoor steps made out of terra cotta tiles (my steps would get really slippery in the rain). It takes a little time to follow the directions to prep (clean) the area, then to cut your strips to size, and then cut the corners off so they are rounded. This was especially time consuming in my case because I didn't think the strips would adhere to the grout, so I cut them in 12" sections corresponding with the tile length. But if you follow the instructions, they work great, and now I don't worry about everyone slipping on my steps.

We used this tape on our cedar deck stairs. It seemed kind of expensive for what is basically a few feet of sandpaper, but seemed like a simple project to keep the stairs safe during wet Pacific NW winters. It was very easy to install - just cut, peel, and stick. We made sure to do it after the deck was dry for a week. At first it worked great, but after about a month of rain the strips started coming unstuck. They just slid around a bit at first, but then started coming off completely. The strips themselves came off in solid pieces that are in good enough condition to try reinstalling with better adhesive. They didn't leave any residue behind on the wood, which may be why they didn't work well.

I used this tread tape for my deck steps. I started putting two strips on each step, but I think it works better with only one, just at the edge of each step. That way, if you're in socks or bare feet, you don't have to step on the edge and feel the rough surface. When it's wet, these definitely give you a sense of security. And if you back the tread just a tiny bit off the edge, you can quickly slide down the steps by rolling your foot forward as you descend. I have these on the steps up to the deck, as well as the steps that go up to the second floor. Those are the most important, as it's a steep, long flight of stairs, very high off the ground. I plan to buy another roll, to finish the few steps I missed. I have had no problems with adhesion through rain, sun, and cold.

This movie easily stacks up with one of the better movies that give scares and does it very well even without the blood guts and gore of others. The movie presented alot of situations that can be very realistic in comparison to how people could react in situations of an alien attack. Some parts in the film can throw chills down your spine from a few surprise scares. In truth the movie isn't really scary by itself but the suspense from the audio really added to the surprises and scares which is what made it so successful, In other words it was done the right way from the suspense and audio. Some people may criticize the movie which is probably due to the dull lifestyle and somewhat dull story of the characters personal lives, which is true, but looking past that, one thing carefully evolves to the next keeping you guessing and wondering whats going to happen next which really kicks off after Mel Gibson see's an alien on a rooftop of the house next door looking directly at him through his daughters window which freaks him out and wondering "What the heck was that!?" Not knowing if that was human or something else. Basically as events unfold, the family encounters Symbols and shapes in the crops near their home, which throughout the story finally learn that the symbols are signs for an alien invasion. THIS part was done very well. Not just some story of "Oh, All of a sudden im Psychic and know whats going on!" Crap which is seen in just too many lame suspense movies. It slowly presents itself with more information gathered from the encounters of the aliens but mostly from the TV News giving updated information of whats happening around the world, which I found great and very realistic. Aside from all that, if you can get over the minor minor hiccups and dull story of the characters in which you might notice with the film. The movie was rather good! I read some reviews which gave negative feedback pointing to a scenario where the Aliens are afraid of water (Water hurts them). All saying crap like "WHAT IF IT RAINED!?" In my opinion, Thats just outright stupid to judge a movie based on some rediculous scenario of WHAT IF's especially when the movie is fiction to begin with! Also pointing out THERE WAS NO RAIN in the first place! So why is that so important to even matter when its fiction!? NOW IF... It rained in the movie, then Yes! I could clearly see that being a big fumble which would truly ruin the logic of the movie. Now being realistic, lets point out that there is no such movie that is perfect in every situation possible without a nitpick Somewhere! I personally felt this movie was intended to bring the suspense to life by clearly being as realistic as possible in the situations that were presented. I felt it was done very well! In anycase, if you can look past some of the minor hiccups (that other reviews use to judge the whole movie) then i think you can really enjoy this movie! I highly recommend this movie to anyone that can enjoy some suspense and few little scares. Psychologically this movie can really suck you in and keep you hooked! Enjoy!!

I've seen this film approximately twenty times. I am now purchasing a DVD copy since my VHS tape just bit the dust FAR TOO CLOSE to the end!! M. Night has created a classic film, acting is superb, story line credible, can't say enough about this film.

Walking into `Signs', I had high expectations. I consider `The Sixth Sense' to be near perfection, and `Unbreakable', while flawed, was truly inspired in both conception and direction. I really anticipated another memorable night with Mr. Shyamalan. Instead, what I encountered was a huge disappointment. `Signs', while visually stunning at times, lacks nearly everything that made his previous efforts so remarkable. There was almost no tension, and there was no real cohesion. Aliens have been the topic of many horror films, with varying results. Some films truly capture the dread that comes with the unknown, while others fail to capitalize on that human curiosity. For me, `Signs' falls very short of its own promise by delivering a film that moves at a snails pace, setting up a conclusion that serves up mild amounts of paranoia. Shyamalan also seems to have turned his brain off for this film, for the conclusions he asks the audience to draw from this are simply improbable and kind of, well, stupid. This is far better than `Lady in the Water', but that isn't say much since that film is beyond abysmal. `Signs' revolves around a close-knit family who discover crop circles that begin to make a serious impact on their lives. You have Rev. Graham Hess, who is a widower and is suffering from a lack of faith (or at least a bout with it). His brother Merrill lives with him on his isolated farm and works hard to keep what's left of his family together. Together they raise Morgan and Bo, Graham's two children. As the crop circles begin to pop up all over the world, Graham and Merrill start to contemplate what this all means for them, and for everyone else. Is there anything they can do to prevent what is bound to happen? The climactic scene in the cellar is chilling to a degree, but it lacks the visceral punch that one got when watching Shyamalan's previous films. There was a layered and harrowing atmosphere created in both `The Sixth Sense' and `Unbreakable' that is not present in `Signs'. I know that some (maybe many) will disagree with me, but I just didn't find this film as gripping nor as suspenseful as so many claimed it to be. I found the way in which Shyamalan connected the dots within his own story to be rather sporadic and disjointed and the eventualities weighed down any of the tension with their ridiculous nature. I really admired Shyamalan in the beginning, for having an imagination he continually insisted on challenging in order to create something fresh and exciting, but he has continued to go so far out in left field that his ideas become tainted with preposterousness. It's like he forgot how to make a movie. The performances in `Signs' are all good. Not a sour grape in the bunch, to be honest. I am not almost convinced of Mel Gibson's talent, but he pulls out a very nuanced performance here (something that helps elevate the film in times of serious need). Phoenix is an actor who I at one time adored but have grown somewhat cold on. This is a minor effort for him, but it works. Abigail Breslin (whose character arc is infuriating) and Rory Culkin (possibly the most talented of the Culkin clan) put out good performances here, doing their best to combat the script handed to them. As a director (at least in his earlier days) Shyamalan shines. Even here he manages to deliver sequences that are visually captivating, and that style alone leads to sharp edits and sharper chills. As a screenwriter he has diminished, and his ideas deter us from his directory flare. This should have been so much better.

The script is excellent... The acting is excellent. The dialogue is excellent. The story is unpredictable. The movie has suspense beginning to end. The characters are believeable, the family is believable & you can feel the love between them. The people who give this movie one star embarrass themselves. In fact, perhaps the movie was so real for some people, it scared them into wanting to insult the movie. Honestly I think Signs is one of the best movies ever made.

This is my first Blu-Ray DVD since purchasing my SONY Blu-Ray DVD Player and my LG HDTV. Signs is a very good movie anyway, but now it is really good.

Charmed - The Complete Second Season Charmed - The Complete Second Season

Reviews

I am trying to collect all 8 seasons and I didn't have this one. Some are harder to find than others in the stores.

This compelete second season has everyone on their seat from one spell to the next and honestly i cant wait to own all eight seasons of charmed.

I was pleased with the accuracy in which the products condition was described and also the great condition that the the product was actually in, thank you for your services.

Season 2 definitely improved upon the foundation laid by the 1st season! Each sister has an interesting back storyline that ran throughout the season: Pru realized a life long desire of becoming a professional photographer, Piper became a club owner AND experienced a love dilemma having to choose between Leo & Dan and Phoebe returned to college. Also Pru developed a new power, astral projection which definitely added excitement to some of the episodes where the power was featured. The only complaint that I have about this set is the fact that there are no extras or a "play all" option which would allow greater ease watching the entire disc in one setting. The skills of all three actresses improved this season as they were able to display greater range in their comedic as well as dramatic acting. I loved that when an episode focused on one sister, that particular actress stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. Of the 22 episodes, I only hate to watch 3: THAT OLD BLACK MAGIC, ANIMAL PRAGMATISM & THE DEVIL'S MUSIC. My favorite episodes are: WITCH TRIAL (the season premiere) - a still grieving Pru faces her guilt about Andy's death while the sisters face a powerful demon that resurrects demons they'd already vanquished in Season 1 MORALITY BITES - (Phoebe centered) - when the Sisters use magic to teach a pest a lesson, they time travel to the future to see how the action eventually costs Phoebe her life P3H2O - the Sisters unearth a secret about their mother's death AWAKENED - (Piper centered) - Piper's life is in jeopardy and no magical solution is available...or is there? PARDON MY PAST - (Phoebe centered) - Phoebe's past life warns her about her impending death so she time travels to the past to unravel the clues CHICK FLICK (one of my all-time faves) - a very clever episode concerning a demon who injects horror movie viewers with rage. I especially love the scenes when the sisters battle the horror stars MS HELLFIRE - brings back one of my favorite demons, Barbas & a love interest for Pru (Antonio Sabbato as "Bane") - this episode features Pru masquerading as a hit woman to find out who ordered a human to kill the sisters BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WITCH FOR - (season finale) another episode that mixes comedy with the drama so effortlessly. A genie tricks the sisters into wishing so that he can be free with disastrous results. Also Piper goes up in a swirl of lights with Leo and we are left wondering if she will return. All in all this is a great season which gives me as much enjoyment today as when I initially watched them.

This season is great too. I cried during "Awakened" due to Piper being my favorite Charmed One. As I said in review of season 1, I watched each episode three times. I stretch the viewing out as I don't want to go through the seasons to quickly.

Mark of Fitness MF-87 Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor Mark of Fitness MF-87 Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

Reviews

I had different wrist blood pressure monitors. First one purchased about 3 years ago. After 18 months, it failed. Just quit working. Of course, I did the obvious. Checked batteries, changed batteries, nothing helped. I tied contacting someone. Made overseas and couldn't find out anything. So, I bought another one - same brand. (I figured it was a fluke!). And then, about 16 months later, it too, simply quit working. From one day to the next. Again, I tried everything I could think of. So - I went online with Amazon, found this item, ordered it. Arrived in good time. But - NO batteries included. So I was ready to install the ones I've been using for years - Rechargeable. Then I read the directions, where they state "do not use rechargeable batteries". So I called the company. They stated that rechargeable batteries have a different chemical that can damage the monitor. All of a sudden, it hit me. That's what was wrong with the previous ones. So, I bought new alkaline batteries and installed them. I have been using this monitor for about 3 weeks now. It works fine. I also use the second memory for my lady friend, so we can watch both bp's separately. The monitor also averages them out for us. All these features are great. The display is large, easy to read, and I love it. IMHO, I have no complaints and this is a great monitor. Next doctor's appointment, I will take it with and check it against the regular upper arm pressure check that they use. So, as I said in the title, and have mentioned here, I have no complaints whatsoever. And did I mention? The price is great too.

It is hard to rate the accuracy of a blood pressure monitor. How can you tell which one is correct when you get separate and different readings from each one you check. However, the MOF seems consistent to me and I am pleased with my purchase

I think that this was a very good item, at at very good price, and the shipper was right on the money, He was right on time, no problems.Mark of Fitness WS-820 Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor

My husband and I are thrilled with the Mark of Fitness B/P monitor we just received! It is within range, and I had a previous model that never was accurate. My husband's MD appreciated the fact that he now able to keep track of his own blood pressure and bring the monitor in for his appointments, and they are able to see the history for many days.

The monitor did not give accurate readings. It was always 60 or more points higher than the readings from other machines. If it was correct I would be st stroke level all the time. I returned it and will not buy another.

Keeping in mind that all electronic BP monitors can only be so accurate it's not bad. You MUST READ THE DIRECTIONS! After reading the directions on how to wear it, what to do - it works fairly well. Occasionally inaccurate but believe it or not - you'll get that with these types. Buy a manual BP/steth and learn how to do it if you're that stressed. I always have mine as a backup. The BP monitor seems more accurate on me than the pulse. But probably one of the better electronic BP monitors you can buy for your wrist.

I got this for my mother, who is not technologically savvy, and she was able to take her own blood pressure after only showing her a couple of times, which is a testament for the ease of use of this product. seems to be well made, and accurate, although i had nothing to reference it against. it was a bit particular about the position of your arm while taking the reading; if it wasn't at the exact level of your heart, it would return an error, but id rather that than an inaccurate reading. i would recommend this to anyone that needs to keep an eye on their blood pressure in between doctor visits.
